If you enjoy having a a beverage every now and then, leave your money at home if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your pocketbook, your wallet, and leave all cash, plastic credit and chequebooks out of the casino. Grab only the money you expect to use on refreshments, tips and whatever pocket change you expect to throw away and keep the remainder behind.
Cynical? Not at all. Realistic more like. You might have a win following a inebriated evening out with your friends and be blessed sufficiently to hit a 25 minute toss at a smokin craps game. Keep that adventure because it is as short-lived as it gets if you consistently consume alcohol and bet. These activities simply do not go well together.
Leaving your money at home might be a little excessive, but defensive actions for excessive behavior is a requirement. If you bet to succeed, then don’t consume alcohol and play.
